UK Water Ltd are commissioned by a large FTSE100 client to help secure a £16 Million contract to design , build and operate a new technology solution to provide Glenmorangie (Parent Group Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey LMVH) to treat their high COD wastewater. Glenmorangie has a unique approach as they will reduce the pollutants currently discharged to the Dornoch Firth by 95%. They will reintroduce a species of Oyster that had previously been a native of the Firth. SEPA and the Marine Conservation Society are partners in this unique project. UK Water Ltd helped develop the technology approach and helped the client and Glenmorangie understand the implications of the new technology at the Tain site. UK Water, more importantly, helped realise savings of over £2 Million pounds to Glenmorangie on this project to date. A further project for the Glenmorangie group site at Ardbeg Distillery on Islay is now in an advanced discussion for commencement in 2017.
